Over the past few weeks we have been observing the life cycle of plants, butterflies, and even ladybugs! We got to watch the amazing metamorphosis of each one take place! Each day for the past few weeks, the minions recorded in their life cycle journal how the butterflies and the ladybugs were changing. They enjoyed recording their data like scientist do! The minions are very familiar with how each one grows into its adult stage of life. This has been a hands-on experience I hope they will never forget! Beautiful Butterfly (: Happy Earth Day!!!!

Garden, garden, what would you like? "I would like earthworms to help me grow in the sunlight"!4/7/2016 We have had a fun adventure learning about the life cycle of a seed. Not only do we have radishes, carrots, and tomatoes growing indoors, but we also have lots of goodies growing outdoors too! We are learning that, it takes the right kind of weather, some good soil, and lots of sunlight to help our veggies and fruit grow. We also learned that the creepy=crawly earthworm is really good for our garden. So, after we investigated the worm and all its body parts we let some loose in our garden! The minions became familiar with how the earthworm breaks up the soil to help water get to the roots, and how the earthworm eats the dead plants and create pellets to help the soil become even better for our growing plants! Mrs. D is helping the kiddos get ready for our worm investigation! Time to set the worms free!We had a blast letting our worms go in our garden! We even had some of Mrs. Gupton's friends to come help us out!
